New measurement technology and control to ensure reliable operation of
the rain water collection tank and pre-sewer treatment
Bözen is located at the foot of the Bözberg mountain in the canton of
Aargau, exactly halfway between Basel and Zurich. The community with
roughly 650 inhabitants is one of the oldest wine-growing areas of this
region. A Sewage Board was founded years ago together with 4
associated nearby communities. Also included in its sphere of influence
is the storm water basin of the Bözen municipality. The waste water of
the co-operative sewage district is purified in a common treatment plant
at the outlet of the lowest lying community.
