Selection criteria for level radar in the chemical industrie
During the past three years the performance but also the variety of level radar devices has been increased significantly. For the
use of radar systems the application has to be analysed according to the process and the tank specific requirements. Only then a
cost effective solution can be defined. This article describes crite-ria for the proper selection of radar devices. Especially the
choice of the frequency (e.g. 6 GHz or 26 GHz) and the antenna types are discussed.
